The stuff that makes you say, “No shit!” before forwarding it to your friends. We’re going to make it easy for you to share, earn credibility for sharing and gauge others’ interest in what you’re sharing.
At NoShit, we think it’s a gift to have your finger on the pulse of what matters on the web. It’s not just anyone who has the intrinsic foresight, news judgement or rare sense of the absurd to share things that the Internet community will universally love.
Our goal is to give users a voice and spur discussion about relevant news and topics. This isn’t the place for salaciously scandalous stories or pictures from your weekend bender that are better left for Facebook. Sure, there might be an occasion for edgy content at times, but we suggest you filter your posts through this assumed reaction of: “This is the coolest, most original, unbelievable link that will make people say, ‘No shit!’”
After all, politicians, news outlets, bloggers, will use this site as a barometer of what matters. We’re going to build a community that bridges the gap between young and old and generates discussion. This community will be heard. We’ve got commitments from bloggers, news reporters and others. And it’s only going to grow!
